Yoroi is a simple, fast, and secure wallet made for Cardano (ADA) and Ergo (ERG). It’s available as a browser extension for all popular browsers, with over one million downloads worldwide. And as a mobile app for both major OS – Android and iOS. And has a wide variety of features, including Cardano staking directly in your wallet.
Once you have earned enough rewards, you might be wondering how do you exactly withdraw ADA from your Yoroi wallet. This short article will teach you how to do that in just a few quick steps. Let’s dive in!
How to Withdraw ADA from Yoroi Wallet
1. Open Yoroi Wallet Extension and Get to Send Tab
Open your Yoroi wallet from the extension tab located in the upper right corner of your browser.
Once your extension loads up, you want to switch to the third tab named “Send.”
2. Fill in the Details
Now you need to fill in the details. There are three different crucial windows – Receiver, Amount, and Memo.
In the receiver window, you need to fill in the receiver’s address. In that case, you have to work with your exact wallet, but here is how to get your ADA address in Binance.
2a. How to Get ADA Address from Binance
First, tap on the small wallet icon in your Binance app, located in the top right corner, and go to “Fiat & Spot.”
In the right corner, you can see options to either “Withdraw” or “Deposit,” since we want to withdraw ADA from Yoroi to Binance, select “Deposit.”
In the table that appeared, select Cardano (ADA) as the coin and choose the native – Cardano, as the network.
From the bottom, copy your wallet address, go back to Yoroi and paste it there.
3. Complete your Transaction
Now enter the amount you wish to transfer and hit “Next.” You must now enter your spending password, and the transaction will be on its way to your other wallet. Since Cardano process around 250 transactions per second, it should meet your Binance in just a few minutes.
If you enter the wrong spending password, you can get a Decryption error, which is an unfortunate term. But don’t worry; it really means that your spending password is wrong.
We are not entering any Memo, because Binance doesn’t want us to. However, if your wallet tells you a memo, you need to fill it in, or your fund will be lost.
That’s because a memo is used to identify transactions in wallets that use shared addresses. If you want to learn more about what is memo and why it is required, you can visit our article.
If the wallet says, you don’t have enough balance, it is possible, that you didn’t unstaked all your Cardano. There should be a large green button on the dashboard screen, that does just that.
Conclusion
All you need to do to withdraw Cardano (ADA) from your Yoroi wallet is to access your wallet, switch to the third tab called “Send,” and fill in the blank windows.
This includes entering the right address, to which you wish to send your Cardano and entering the amount. If your wallet requires you to enter a Memo, don’t forget it! Without a memo, your transaction will get lost.
