The LEASH token is one of the three tokens you can get in the Shiba ecosystem. Apart from SHIB itself and BONE, LEASH is a base token you can stake (or, in Shiba’s terminology, “Bury”) and earn high returns.
But the staking itself is one of the last steps. First thing first, you need to add LEASH to MetaMask.
The process is very simple.

To import Shiba LEASH to MetaMask, ensure you have the Ethereum network selected and click the button to add a new token. |

Let’s take a look at how to do that step-by-step.
How to Add LEASH to MetaMask
Fortunately, the LEASH token is native to the Ethereum network, so you don’t have to import any new custom network. That’s also usually the harder step.
1. Go to MetaMask and Ensure you are using the Ethereum Mainnet
First thing first, unlock your wallet with your password.
It will bring you to the balance overview, where you can see all your tokens. But first, before doing anything else, ensure that you are truly seeing the balances and tokens of the Ethereum Mainnet.
In the top part of the extension, make sure that the network selector truly names the ETH network.
2. Select “Import Tokens”
At the bottom of the section that lists all your available tokens, you can find an “Import tokens” button.
With one of the recent updates, the developers added a search function. With that, you can search the blockchain and add new tokens instantly with just a click of a button.
We are not really sure what are the prerequisites, but it seems to sometimes search for LEASH, but most of the time, it won’t find it.
If that’s your case, switch to the second tab, “Custom token.”
3. Find the LEASH Contract Address and Copy it
Now you need to fill the window that showed up. The most important is the contract address.
You can source contracts from many applications. We, in our guides, stick with CoinMarketCap; it’s very easy to use and has every possible token you can even think of.
So visit the LEASH page on CoinMarketCap and look for a section called “contracts.” It will be somewhere near the top.
Then copy the correct contract address. Doge Killer (LEASH) comes only on the Ethereum network, so there’s only one address available, and that’s the correct one.
LEASH contract address: 0x27c70cd1946795b66be9d954418546998b546634
4. Import LEASH as a Custom Token
With the contract address in hand, open back the MetaMask extension and paste it into the “Token Contract Address” field.
If you’ve entered the correct token’s contract other two fields will be autofilled with LEASH as the token symbol and 18 as the token decimal.
Then top it off by tapping the “Add custom token” button, and the Doge Killer token will appear as one of your tokens under the Ethereum Network.
Then all that’s left is to swap some tokens and go stake them on ShibaSwap!
